Nemo’s Garden – Noli Italy

Nemo’s Underwater Garden is an eco-friendly and self-sustainable biosphere. It harnesses renewable energy from the sun and freshwater gained by the desalination of seawater.

Temperature (of the surrounding seawater and the air inside the biosphere), sunlight illuminance and indoor humidity are the key factors allowing the plants to grow inside the biospheres.

These underwater biospheres use hydroponic-based techniques.  This enables the plants to grow in a controlled nutrient-rich solution that delivers water and minerals to their roots.
